The Escalating Electric Bill? - why is my thermostat making an alarm sound
For months, my electricity bills have been here in North Texas at an alarming rate, and wondered whether I might be overloaded. Something about how many houses in this way the accused in the news.
As the only person in the household use that power not only for heating and keeping the thermostat at a constant temperature of 72 degrees (but only if it is cold ... mind you), otherwise not even fire back across. I can not understand for the life of me why my bill over $ 300 a few months!
Can someone please tell me who I contact if I, if rates rise, an important representative of the electricity company, for which no help at all. I want someone who is more in this department reviewh must make sure that my heating costs are absolutely right, in addition to the fair.
I cut on many things and is even considering disconnecting the refrigerator over night and nothing else with a plug in the device.

I have a small office, the monthly bill instead of climbing. I followed my show kWh per month to a seasonal trend. Their use is virtually unchanged since 2000, but it is clear that the rate has increased.
I say this because it just suck in May, current nonsense without your knowledge. Here are a few odd balls, I'll find ... From a compressor unit / C. There was a lot of effort heater thermostat, the oil from the area of the piston. He was 5 amps to 240 throughout the winter! A sump pump is jammed. The water heater with a hole. Finished drawing more juice. HaFoam panels reduce R & D that the manufacturer used to my recovery led to reduced air after 10 years and draws hot air from the floor and try to chill! In the winter, he pulled out of the cold attic air to heat.
Unplug the refrigerator, unless you have nothing to eat or do not care if you Ecoli.
A good question is if you do not use a flat rate for electricity, or the rate of change in demand? I
